Stop motion- E is for Evil

The animation was created using After Effects and physical props that was created by hand. To film the footage, the camera was set upon a tripod in order to minimize the movement of the camera. The frames are jittery which is a link to the genre of horror films as it is a method of scaring the viewer in order to create tension. The music track is from which is used to create a sense of uneasiness as it sounds like demonic chanting to link with the theme of the theme of evil. The assets were created using paper and the trees were placed in this scene to get a sense of perspective to show that the face is closer to the viewer, which gives the viewer an uneasy feeling. If I was to redo this stop motion I would perhaps create a more sinister face that resembles a more of an evil creature to make sure that the viewers are shocked.
